Hawaii Gov. Josh Green stated Saturday, “A lot can change in the next 72 to 96 hours, because that’s what happens nowadays.” In politics today, four months is an eternity. I’m not anxious about getting a good ticket if the president goes another way.”

Green wants to “respect the president and give him the time to make this decision.” He’s our nominee if he chooses. Because Mr. Trump doesn’t represent our ideals, we’ll fight him hard.”

As Biden’s staff urges House Democrats to let the president show his stuff, one Democratic aide argued the Friday interview made things worse. The aide anticipates more Democrats pushing for Biden’s resignation.

Democratic leaders in the House and Senate are meeting with members in the coming days to consider solutions without breaking with Biden. Many lawmakers receive queries from constituents at home. One senator sought to unite senators to remove him.

He said, “I don’t buy that,” when informed of his polling deficit. “I don’t think anyone’s more qualified to be president or win this race than me.”

The interview, which ABC said was uncut, featured Biden rambling. Biden suggested massive, passionate rallies like his Friday one in Wisconsin to turn the race around. Trump slammed his opponent after being informed that he gets greater crowds.
