Jenni Rivera's new star was vandalized.

A notice posted on the Instagram account of the renowned Hollywood walkway stated that the star of Jenni Rivera, which was on the Walk of Fame, had been destroyed and has since been restored. This occurred less than two weeks after the star was first presented.

LOS ANGELES — The There have been two instances of vandalism committed to the stars of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which are the Tejano artists Selena Quintanilla and Jenni Rivera. The vandalism occurred only a few weeks after Rivera’s star was shown to the public.

According to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the first instance of vandalism against the celebrities occurred on Monday morning.

The celebs were subjected to yet another act of vandalism on Tuesday.

The stars, which were smeared in black paint, were cleaned up by a large number of admirers who took it upon themselves to do everything.

Rivera’s children Jacqie, Johnny, Chiquis, Jenicka, and Michael were present at the ceremony on June 27 to receive the posthumous award for Rivera’s stellar achievement. The celebration was attended by Gloria Trevi, who was the guest speaker. In the year 2012, Rivera was killed in a plane disaster.

The addition of Quintanilla’s star occurred in 2017, 22 years after the president of her fan club, Yolanda Saldivar, was responsible for her death by having her shot and executed.

Both of these great vocalists of Mexican American descent were at the pinnacle of their respective genres in their own right. Quintanilla is still considered to be the “Queen of Tejano Music,” while Rivera was sometimes referred to as “La Diva de la Banda.”

Just two weeks after the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce presented its installation, the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame that was erected in honor of the late Jenni Rivera was damaged with black paint.

It was on June 27 that Rivera, also known as “La Diva de La Banda,” was etched into the history books on the famed starry walkway that is located in front of Capitol Records. In the afternoon of Monday, Rivera’s daughter, Jacqie Rivera, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Jenni Rivera Enterprises, shared with her Instagram followers the news that the star had been covered in black paint, along with another star that was a tribute to the late Selena Quintanilla.

Each of these women had a significant impact on the globalization of Latin music and used their music to express the Mexican-American culture that they both identified with. Additionally, they met a horrible end, with Quintanilla being murdered in the year 1995 and Rivera being killed in a plane crash in the year 2012.

According to Jacqie, she found out about the damage through fans who came to visit her mother’s star and were surprised to discover that it was totally covered by the graffiti. During the time when the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce was being called to clean the star in a professional manner and to identify those responsible, the fans made the effort to clean the star themselves first.

In a post on Instagram, the charitable organization stated, “This is intolerable! The fans who sought to clean up the star and reported their efforts are to be thanked. Take note that there are cameras in every location, and a report has been submitted to the police!
