Rebel Ridge, a Netflix thriller directed and written by Jeremy Saulnier, has topped the platform’s charts for a week with over 68 million hours watched and 31 million views. This brutal concept and our unfamiliarity with intense thrillers made it one of the platform’s proposals of the year.

Saulnier’s films ‘Blue Ruin’, ‘Green Room’, and ‘Night of the Wolves’ have three-line plots but show characters pushed to their physical and psychological limits who explode, taking everything with them. This happens in ‘Rebel Ridge‘.
